Photography and ceramics

My photography work is always available at the Colorado Artisan Center, 1512 Larimer St.,  open 10-5 every day. 

I moved to Colorado in the 1970’s.  I was drawn by the landscapes and lifestyle of the west. I became interested in photography and built my own darkroom and studio. My interests are eclectic and have not flagged over the years and include landscapes, animals, travel, portraiture and artifacts of the industrial age.  

I came back to ceramics in recent years as I discovered I could combine it with my love of Photography.  All ceramics are hand thrown by me and fired to a vitrified state.  They are microwave and dishwasher safe. I re-fire some of my work with my photographs. The photos are fired into the glaze and become a permanent part of the pottery.
